A tradition of growth from within.
Our efforts in hiring and training articling students are consciously directed towards future growth and development. Over the last decade, 100 per cent of articling students have joined the firm as associates after completion of articles.

Salary & benefits for articling students.
Our articling students receive compensation that is commensurate with other large law firms in Manitoba as well as an attractive benefits package. The firm pays for all related PREP, Bar Admission, and Articling and Law Society of Manitoba fees.

How to Apply

As a result of revised Articling Student Recruitment Guidelines for the 2021–2022 Articling Year to address the COVID-19 pandemic, the application deadline has been extended to 12:00 noon, Friday, October 9, 2020. 

It is our intention to hire up to two to three students for the 2021-2022 articling year. Fillmore Riley is committed to creating a collegial and professional environment comprised of lawyers with a diverse range of experiences that is representative of Manitoba’s population. We encourage applications from Indigenous and visible minority students, LGBTQ+ students and students with a disability.

The application deadline for students to submit resumes, cover letters and all university transcripts (i.e. undergraduate and law school transcripts) is no later than 12:00 (noon), Friday, October 9, 2020.

  3. Undergraduate Transcript (copy or PDF of original, not web-based)

Law Transcript (copy or PDF of original, not web-based; however, you may provide the web-based version with the official version to follow if your official transcript will not contain all of your law school grades prior to the application deadline)
